Pool:

The pool is operated for the enjoyment of the residents of Plantation Park Homeowners' Association who are in good standing, with no outstanding balance for Homeowner Association dues.

 

Following are rules by which the pool will operate. Please take a moment to review this information personally, as well as with your children. It is every resident's responsibility to understand and follow these rules, as well as to insure that their guests understand and follow them. Please bear in mind the principles of treating others with respect and courtesy and using common sense for any situation not covered. Those will be the same principles used by Pool Monitors and Board of Directors in interpreting and enforcing these rules.

 

General Rules

1. The pool will be opened with no Lifeguard. All resident pool use is at your own risk and resident is responsible for the safety of their family members and guests.

2.  Resident swimming is NOT permitted other than the hours posted.

Pool Access

4.  Residents will only be allowed in the pool area with valid entrance key and may be required to sign-in/provide proof of residency.  Each household must have at least one entrance key present. Directors or assigned pool monitors may periodically confirm residency of pool guests.

5.  Access to the pool is available through any of the two gates surrounding the pool area.

6.   Residents must wear appropriate swim attire.  No shorts, cut-offs, or street clothes with buckles, rivets or sharp objects will be permitted in the water.

7.  Please shower before entering the pool.

8.   Persons with communicable or infectious diseases, rashes, or sores should not use the pool.

9.   Infants and toddlers still in diapers MUST wear either a "swim diaper" or plastic pants with elastic around the waist and legs.

10.   Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult resident or unrelated designated guardian (16 years or older) at all times.

Pool Conduct

14.  No diving, running, boisterous or rough play, pushing and excessive splashing.

15.  No profanity, improper behavior or vulgar remarks.

16.  No tennis balls in the pool.

17.   No pets, bicycles, skateboards, scooters, or roller blades inside the pool area.

18.  No glass containers inside the pool area.

19.  No one intoxicated or under the influence of drugs will be allowed in the pool area.

20.  Keep all drinks and food away from the pool. Please place all garbage in the trash cans.

21.   Smoking will only be permitted in a designated area.

22.  Radios, tape/CD players, etc. should have volumes kept at courteous levels.

23.  Directors or Pool Monitors may prohibit the use of floats, fins, snorkels, masks, etc… at their discretion. Floats will not be permitted in the pool when the pool is crowded.

24.  Children wearing flotation devices require constant parental supervision in order to ensure the child's safety. Flotation devices for children, such as arm floats, are not safety devices.

Fitness Center/Racquetball Court

 

The fitness center is open 24 hours a day.

 

The fitness center offers a wide variety of weight training and cardio machines. Also features an indoor racquetball court.

Tennis Court

 

Hours for the tennis court are 8:00am to 10:00pm daily.

 

Court Reservations

- Courts are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- Play should be limited to one and one-half hours. If no one is waiting to use the court, play may continue.

 

Regulations

- Only flat sole tennis shoes may be worn on the court. No black sole shoes allowed. - Metal rackets should have guards for protection of court surfaces.

- Players must exhibit proper sportsmanship, e.g., no throwing of rackets and no profanity.

- No one other than the actual players may be inside the fenced area. Those waiting to play, spectators and children must stay outside the fenced area.

- No pets, chairs, stools, furniture, baby strollers, playpens or baby beds are allowed inside the fenced area.

- No food, glass containers or beverages may be taken inside the fenced area, except water or sport drinks in non-breakable containers.

- Jumping and swinging on the nets and/or fence is prohibited.

-Place all trash in proper receptacles.

- No smoking inside the court fences.

- Courts are for tennis and basketball only! Bikes, skates or other activities are prohibited on the court.

 

Guest Privileges

- Guests are permitted, when accompanied by an association member, to utilize the tennis facilities at any time during normal tennis hours.

- Excessive use of the guest privileges will result in restriction of them. PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE.

 

The only way these rules can be effective is for everyone to be fair and honest as well as courteous in the use of our courts. We encourage your cooperation.
Parents - Please be sure to go over these rules with your children so there will be no misunderstanding. Parents will be responsible for any damage done by their children while on the court.
